HARDEEVILLE, S.C. – Parker’s Kitchen —a nationally acclaimed convenience store company and food service leader that’s currently celebrating its 50th anniversary — hosted a special ribbon cutting on March 5th to celebrate the grand opening of the company’s new store in Hardeeville, S.C. Special dignitaries included Hardeeville Mayor Harry Williams, Jasper County Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Kendall Malphrus and numerous City Council members.

Parker’s Kitchen founder and Executive Chairman Greg Parker and Outreach and Communications Manager Olivia Parker presented a $20,000 Fueling the Community donation to Jasper County School District as part of the company’s Fueling the Community program, a charitable initiative that donates a portion of gas sold at all Parker’s Kitchen locations on the first Wednesday of the month to area schools. Jasper County School District Superintendent Laura Hickson accepted the donation on behalf of local students, teachers and staff. To date, Parker’s Kitchen has donated more than $3 million to support area schools across Georgia and South Carolina through the Fueling the Community program.
“We want to be a great neighbor in Jasper County and are deeply committed to supporting the communities we serve,” said Parker’s Kitchen founder and Executive Chairman Greg Parker. “We believe that education has the power to create economic opportunity, reduce crime and uplift communities. When you shop at Parker’s Kitchen, you know your money is staying local and making a positive impact.”
Ideally located at Hwy. 170 and Argent Parkway in the heart of the South Carolina Lowcountry, the company’s newest store features signature Lowcountry-inspired architecture, a limewashed brick exterior, gas-lit lanterns, high-end fixtures, designer lighting and state-of-the-art restrooms, raising the bar for what customers can expect from a convenience store. The new store is surrounded a magnificent canopy of mature live oaks and will serve customers across the region.
The newest Parker’s Kitchen serves fresh, hot, award-winning, Southern-inspired Parker’s Kitchen food Monday through Friday from 4 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 5 a.m. to 7 p.m., offering a dedicated foodservice area with a hot bar with convenient electronic kiosk ordering as well as indoor dining and grab-and-go food options. The Parker’s Kitchen menu is handcrafted on-site, from popular grab-and-go breakfast biscuits to hand-breaded, never-frozen, antibiotic-free Parker’s Kitchen Chicken Tenders.
