SAVANNAH, Ga. – Zachary (Zach) H. Thomas was recently honored as a 2026 Georgia Super Lawyer. Zach has been recognized as a Super Lawyer for the past four years. Super Lawyers are selected based upon peer review, independent research, and professional achievements. Only 5% of attorneys throughout the state are selected.
As founder of Zachary H. Thomas Law, P.C., Zach has 21 years of experience in the legal field. He specializes in representing cases throughout the state related to personal injury and wrongful death. Zach has received numerous professional recognitions including being recognized as a Super Lawyer Rising Star for ten years and receiving an AV Preeminent Rating by Martindale-Hubbell, the highest peer rating given to attorneys.

As an active member of his community and advocate for his profession, Zach is a 2019 graduate of Leadership Savannah and the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association’s leadership program. He currently serves on the Executive Committee of the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association and the board of the Civil Justice Political Action Committee of the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association. He is past president of the Savannah Trial Lawyers Association. Zach is involved with Blood Cancer United (formerly Leukemia Lymphoma Society), where he currently serves as Chair of the 2026 Visionaries of the Year campaign. He was named the LLS Savannah Man of the Year in 2018 and has served on the Leadership Committee for the past eight years. He is currently on the boards of Loop It Up, SAFE Shelter, The Savannah Music Festival, Downtown Savannah Authority, Downtown Neighborhood Association, and the Make-A-Wish Savannah Advisory Board.
A native of Savannah, Zach graduated from Savannah Country Day School and received his undergraduate degree from New York University’s College of Arts and Sciences. He received his J.D. from the Mercer University School of Law where he was inducted into the Order of the Barristers, an honorary society for law school graduates.
