On April 7, President of New Construction and Project Development Taavo Roos made history with the highest residential land sale on Tybee Island, Ga. The $2 million sale of 1 Ocean Drive, a 0.38 acre oceanfront lot in the prestigious Ocean Drive community, is nearly double the previous Tybee Island land sale on record. Roos represented the buyer and seller and serves as the exclusive listing agent for Ocean Drive, a new gated residential community offering 10 luxury home sites.
On April 11, Roos represented the seller of The Present, a boutique hotel located at 224 Houston Street on Crawford Square in Savannah’s National Historic Landmark District, in a $5.25 million closing. One of Savannah’s most unique hotels, The Present was renovated in 2018 and included 15 stylish guest rooms curated by award-winning designer Elizabeth Demos. Roos worked with Ridley Stalling and Melissa H. Rowan at Corcoran Austin Hill Realty, who represented the buyer, to close this significant sale.
