SING Children’s Choir enrolling now

SAVANNAH, GA — Savannah Inspiring the Next Generation (SING) is now enrolling students for its 2026-27 choir season through Aug. 24.

Open to students in kindergarten through 12th grade, SING welcomes singers of all experience levels. No audition or previous musical experience is required.

To provide an age-appropriate experience for every participant, SING offers three choirs:

  • Spark: Kindergarten through second grade
  • Kindle: Third through fifth grade
  • Illuminate: Sixth through 12th grade

SING’s 10-month choir program has an estimated value of $800 to $1,000 per student. However, the organization is committed to ensuring that financial circumstances never prevent a child from participating. Families are invited to contribute what they are able.

Those who choose to give beyond the estimated program value help make it possible for additional students to participate. Many employers also offer matching gift programs, allowing donations to have an even greater impact.

“We can’t wait to welcome new and returning singers for a season filled with music, friendship and growth,” said Rebecca Flaherty, executive and artistic director of SING. “Every child has a voice worth sharing, and SING is a place where that voice can thrive.”

Rehearsals are held each Monday from Aug. 17 through May 10 at Asbury Memorial Church, 1008 E. Henry Street. The Spark choir rehearses from 4:30 to 5:15 p.m., while the Kindle and Illuminate choirs rehearse from 5 to 7 p.m.
