SAVANNAH, GA – CURE Childhood Cancer is teaming up with 12 Chick-fil-A restaurants across Coastal Georgia on Tuesday, September 29, for the annual Cookies for CURE, with 100% of chocolate chunk cookie sales benefiting CURE’s work to fight childhood cancer.
From 6:30 am to 9 pm on September 29th, every chocolate chunk cookie purchased at a participating restaurant will help CURE fund targeted pediatric cancer research and provide critical support to children and families facing a childhood cancer diagnosis.
“Cookies for CURE turns something as simple as buying a cookie into an opportunity to make a real impact for children with cancer,” said Abby Smith, CURE’s Development Manager/Community Engagement for South Georgia. “The continued support of our local Chick-fil-A restaurants and this community means so much to the families we serve, and we hope everyone will stop by and help us make this year our biggest yet.”
Participating restaurants include Rincon, Midtown Savannah (White Bluff/DeRenne), Abercorn (Southside Savannah), Vidalia, Victory Drive at Skidaway, Hinesville, Statesboro, Eagles Corner, Pooler, Savannah Quarters, Godley Station and Oglethorpe Mall.
Held during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, Cookies for CURE provides an easy way for the community to directly support CURE’s mission. Funds raised will help advance research aimed at developing safer, more effective treatments for childhood cancers while supporting patients and families throughout their cancer journey.
