Panda Fest Savannah to Feature Extensive Range of Asian Street Food and Merchandise

SAVANNAH, GA – Panda Fest, making its Savannah debut Oct. 16–18 at Tanger Outlets Savannah, is bringing more than 70 food vendors, 150-plus street-food offerings and over 20 merchandise vendors to the Coastal Empire from around the nation as well as local Georgia businesses.

The three-day, family-friendly festival will showcase an expansive lineup of traditional dishes, contemporary street foods, colorful desserts and specialty drinks representing a variety of Asian culinary traditions. Attendees will be able to sample a range of Asian cuisine from soup dumplings and takoyaki to Korean corn dogs, Filipino barbecue, onigiri, boba tea and Japanese-inspired desserts.

Among the food vendors, from as far as New York and California, scheduled to participate are Shanghai Soup Dumplings, serving pork soup dumplings and siu mai; Peking Duck Taco; Hoshino Takoyaki; King Squid, featuring grilled whole squid; Maya’s Merienda and Asian Street Foods, offering Filipino barbecue and shrimp; K-town Snack Club, serving Korean street eats; Pop Onigiri, featuring fresh Japanese rice balls; and OMG Japanese Rice Burgers, serving Asian-style rice burgers. Festivalgoers with a sweet tooth will also find plenty to explore, including mochi donuts from Mochi.Mochii, Japanese matcha Mont Blanc ice cream from Viral Japanese Sweet Treats, fruit sandos from Japanese Fruit Sandwich, ube ice cream and drinks, 3D fruit ice cream, cotton candy, bingsu, Italian ice and an assortment of boba, fruit teas and specialty beverages.

Panda Fest’s Savannah lineup also includes several Georgia-based vendors, including Spring Tea, offering mango sago pudding sticky rice; Sushi Push Pop, featuring salmon sushi push pops; Taco Sushi, serving California-style sushi tacos; Capyboba, offering brown sugar crème brûlée; Frozen Drip Italian Ice, serving Italian ice and shaved ice; and Magic Cotton Candy.

Many participating vendors will offer vegan and gluten-free selections, giving guests a variety of options as they explore the festival.


“Food is such an important part of the Panda Fest experience because it gives our guests the opportunity to discover something new with every stop,” said Xuan “BiuBiu” Xu, founder of Panda Fest. “We’re bringing an incredible mix of vendors to Savannah, from familiar favorites to dishes and flavors people may be trying for the first time.”

Beyond the food, guests can shop from more than 20 merchandise vendors offering Asian-inspired and panda-themed goods, handmade items, collectibles, jewelry, apparel and interactive experiences. Participating vendors include The Blooming Jewel, featuring Asian jewelry and hair accessories; Kimono Cat, offering kimonos and samurai pants; MultiBox, featuring K-pop albums and Japanese blind boxes; Egg Atelier, with crocheted flower pots and toys; Loyal Wyvern LLC, offering handcrafted terrariums, statues and stained glass; and Sumi Sumi Ink, where guests can paint their own figurines. Other merchandise vendors include W By Lindsey, Peekaboo Press-on Nails, Xiumi – The Cutie Shop, Sweet Intentions Shop, Mystic Charm, Plushiipop, Anime Pins, Beyond Collectibles – The Beyond Boys and more.

In addition to the food and shopping, Panda Fest will feature Asian cultural performances, family-friendly activities, panda-themed attractions, a giant panda inflatable and Panda Bounce House.

Panda Fest Savannah will be held at Tanger Outlets Savannah, 200 Tanger Outlets Blvd. in Pooler, from 4–10 p.m. Friday, Oct. 16; 10 a.m.–10 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 17; and 10 a.m.–8 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 18.

General admission tickets are priced at $14 and VIP admission at $35. Saturday tickets will be $2 additional. General admission includes a customized Panda pin and Panda headband, while VIP admission also includes a Panda Fest bag, fast-pass entry and access to exclusive VIP areas and restrooms.

Gate admission will be $20, subject to venue capacity, and advance ticket holders will receive priority entry. Children under age six do not require a ticket.
