RICHMOND HILL, GA – The Black Therapist Brunch, an event to support Black licensed mental health professionals through connection, reflection, and community, will be hosted at Richmond Hill City Center from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. on Saturday, August 22. The event, presented by Journey with J.Lee Consulting, will serve as an opportunity for licensed mental health providers to gather and network with their peers.
There are two tiers for the brunch experience, ranging from $65 to $162. Tier 1 is the Brunch Experience for $65 which includes a catered brunch, curated swag bag, mini resource fair, and an intentional networking event with black mental health professionals. Tier 2 is the Brunch Experience and CE Credits for $162 which includes everything in Tier 1, as well as 2.5 Ethics Continuing Education credits that are approved by the ASWB ACE Program.
“The Black Therapist Brunch was created because I know firsthand how much therapists give of themselves every day. We spend our careers holding space for others, often without taking the time to receive that same level of support ourselves,” said Jerecia Lee, founder of Journey with J. Lee Consulting. “This event is an opportunity for Black Licensed Mental Health Professionals to step away from their responsibilities for a moment, connect with one another, and be poured into. My hope is that every person who attends leaves feeling seen, refreshed, and reminded that they deserve care too. When we invest in the well-being of therapists, we’re ultimately investing in the health and healing of our communities.”
Sponsorship opportunities are available so that therapists can recharge, reconnect, and be restored while continuing the vital work they do for others. Sponsorship opportunities range from $65 to $1,000 with four levels: sponsoring a therapist’s seat, the community champion level, the wellness level, and the Legacy Sponsor.
