Abbie DeLoach Foundation announces partnership with Lesley Francis PR & Marketing

SAVANNAH, GA – The Abbie DeLoach Foundation announces Lesley Francis Public Relations & Marketing (LFPR) as the organization’s public relations and marketing agency.

Through the partnership, LFPR will provide strategic communications, public relations, marketing, media relations, digital communications and community engagement support to help expand awareness of the foundation’s mission and strengthen its impact across Georgia and beyond.

The Abbie DeLoach Foundation was founded in memory of Abbie DeLoach, one of five Georgia Southern University nursing students tragically killed in a tractor-trailer collision on April 22, 2015. The foundation is dedicated to honoring her legacy of selfless service to others, generosity, academic and athletic achievement, and compassion to all. As of 2026 the foundation has proudly awarded over 186 scholarships to student-athletes, nursing, kinesiology and physician assistant students, community and student service programs and helped fund global missions in three continents. Through the Hands Free for Abbie Campaign, the foundation encourages students, families, educators and businesses to take the Hands-Free Pledge—a simple commitment to put phones down, keep hands on the wheel, and choose life every time they drive.

“We are excited to welcome Lesley Francis Public Relations as an extension of our team,” said Jimmy DeLoach, founder and president of the Abbie DeLoach Foundation. “Their experience in nonprofit communications and passion for community engagement make them the ideal partner as we continue growing our mission and reaching more people with Abbie’s story. Together, we hope to inspire action, save lives and create opportunities for future generations.”

LFPR will work alongside the Abbie DeLoach Foundation to develop and execute a comprehensive communications strategy and will also support the foundation’s signature events, scholarship initiatives and the continued growth of its “Hands Free for Abbie” distracted driving education efforts.

“From our first conversations with the Abbie DeLoach Foundation team, it was clear that this is an organization driven by purpose, compassion and a genuine commitment to making a difference,” said Lesley Francis, CEO of Lesley Francis Public Relations. “We are honored to partner with the foundation to amplify its story, elevate its programs and help connect more individuals, businesses and communities to its mission.”

The partnership comes as the Abbie DeLoach Foundation continues to expand its programs and outreach, building on years of service that have positively impacted students, families and communities throughout the region and globally.

The organizations have already begun collaborating on strategic initiatives that will enhance public awareness, strengthen community partnerships and increase support for the foundation’s scholarship programs and advocacy efforts to continue Abbie’s good works while honoring her legacy.
