SAVANNAH, Ga. — Historic Savannah Foundation is pleased to announce the return of the weekly Yoga in the Garden Series at the Davenport House Museum garden, located at 323 E. Broughton St. in Savannah, Ga. beginning Saturday, May 9 at 9:30 a.m. The Yoga in the Garden Series, which originally launched in Spring 2024, is presented in partnership with Savannah Yoga Center.

Led by skilled instructors from Savannah Yoga Center, these weekly, beginner-friendly, one-hour classes offer a welcoming, relaxing environment suitable for all levels of experience. Yoga classes will take place in the serene garden at the Davenport House Museum, one of Savannah’s most historic green spaces. In the event of inclement weather, classes will be held indoors at Historic Savannah Foundation’s Preservation Center.
“With the return of our Yoga in the Garden Series, we warmly invite participants to move, breathe and enjoy a peaceful start to Saturday mornings in May and June,” said Davenport House Museum Executive Director Danielle Hodes. “We’re incredibly honored to partner with Savannah Yoga Center to bring this popular series back and to engage community members in holistic wellness.”
Each Yoga in the Garden session is $15 per person for Historic Savannah Foundation members at $20 for non-members. Classes are limited to 12 participants to ensure a comfortable experience for everyone. Participants must be age 16 or older and are asked to bring a yoga mat and water.
No experience is necessary to participate in the Yoga in the Garden series. Space is limited, and advance registration is required. To register, please visit davenporthousemuseum.org/public-programs.
