SAVANNAH, GA – The Savannah Philharmonic is pleased to announce Dr. Leah Dutton has been promoted to Orchestra Librarian and Personnel Manager. She has served as the Savannah Philharmonic Librarian since 2022 and is a core member of the Savannah Philharmonic Orchestra.
Dr. Dutton enjoys a versatile career as a professional cellist, orchestra librarian, teacher and now personnel manager. Originally from Pittsburgh, PA, she holds a Bachelor of Music from Duquesne University, a Master of Music from Federal University of Paraiba, and her Doctorate of Musical Arts from the University of Georgia.
She previously worked as principal cellist of the Paraiba Symphony Orchestra and as a cello professor at the Anthenor Navarro State School. In addition to her role with the Savannah Philharmonic, Dr. Dutton performs and teaches throughout the Southeast.
