SAVANNAH, Ga. – Union Mission will serve free boxed meals in preparation to the Easter holiday to families and individuals experiencing homelessness on Tuesday, March 31st from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Union Mission’s administrative office parking lot at 125 Fahm Street in Savannah. This event is free and open to the public.

“This event underscores Union Mission’s ongoing commitment to serving individuals and families in need throughout the year,” says Michael Traynor, President and CEO of Union Mission. “We’re incredibly honored to join forces with generous corporate partners like Red Bull and Parker’s Kitchen to provide critical support for Savannah’s most vulnerable populations.”
Union Mission’s special spring meal event is made possible through the generosity of corporate and community partners, as well as dedicated volunteers from Red Bull and Parker’s Kitchen. The local nonprofit organization, which has cared for Savannah’s homeless community for more than 85 years, will offer boxed meals, encourage visits to an on-site clothing closet, and provide hygiene bags — all at no cost.
“The uplifting work Union Mission’s Parker’s House is doing to combat homelessness, food insecurity and create a path forward full of resilience and prosperity for the women of Georgia, Florida and South Carolina is truly an inspiring mission,” said Kenny Dix, Vice President of Red Bull. “By providing almost 140,000 meals to more than 850 women since inception is no small feat – and we are humbled to be even one small part of this powerful story. As such, the opportunity to partner with Union Mission and the Savannah community was one that Red Bull North America does not take lightly. We are excited to be servant leaders and live out a core tenet of our Code – to energize with purpose and positivity. Thank you for this opportunity and we look forward to a day full of nourishment, joy, hope and inspiration.”
Union Mission affirms that compassionate care remains vitally important throughout the year, with spring presenting a fresh opportunity for community support, continuing its longstanding legacy of assisting, supporting and advocating for Savannah’s vulnerable populations.
“We’re honored to support Union Mission’s commitment to helping local families and individuals in need through events like the Spring Picnic Popup and their broader work focused on long-term solutions,” said Parker’s Kitchen Founder and Executive Chairman Greg Parker. “As community leaders, we have a responsibility not only to support organizations like Union Mission, but to bring others—like Red Bull—into the fold to help drive meaningful impact. When we come together, we can amplify their mission and make an even greater difference in our communities.”
In 2025, Union Mission served 2,319 individuals with 189,580 nights of housing and 268,437 meals. Through our programs and supportive services, we helped transition 734 men, women and children from the streets of Savannah to safe, stable housing.
