Senior Citizens Inc. Announces 2026–2027 Board Leadership and Welcomes Five New Members

SAVANNAH, Ga. — Senior Citizens Inc. (SCI), the nonprofit organization dedicated to helping people age successfully throughout coastal Georgia since 1959, has announced its officers for the 2026–2027 Board of Directors and welcomed five distinguished community leaders to its governing board.

Serving as officers are:

  • Board Chair: Dr. Bill H. Wallace, retired surgeon
  • Vice Chair: Jenny O’Sako, Partner, Sterling Seacrest Pritchard
  • Secretary: Philip Solomons, Jr., retired executive, Solomons Pharmaceutical Distributing
  • Treasurer: Joe Ebberwein, Chief Financial Officer and Founder, Corstrata
  • Immediate Past Chair: Mark Bennett, Director of Public Affairs and Public Investment, Gulfstream

Together, the officers and board members represent decades of leadership in healthcare, finance, business, nonprofit management, philanthropy, education, and economic development, bringing valuable expertise to support SCI’s mission of helping people age successfully.

Joining the Board of Directors are Barbara Coley, Mary Jane Crouch, Brynn Grant, William Mock, and Terri O’Neill.

  • Barbara Coley-  after a career in commercial design and education, Barbara has been an active volunteer and philanthropist in Savannah supporting organizations including the Telfair Museums, American Traditions Vocal Collection, and Coastal Georgia Botanical Gardens, where she has served as a longtime board member. 
  • Mary Jane Crouch recently retired as Executive Director of America’s Second Harvest of Coastal Georgia, where she led the organization’s significant growth and expansion, including development of its new Glynn County facility. 
  • Brynn Grant serves as Chief Executive Officer of the Liberty County Development Authority. Her career also includes leadership roles at United Way of the Coastal Empire,  Savannah Economic Development Authority, Savannah Music Festival and Savannah Technical College.
  • William Mock is Region Executive for Georgia Power’s Southeast Region, where he provides strategic leadership and regional operational support. A Georgia Tech graduate and Leadership Savannah alumnus, he also serves on the boards of several community organizations.
  • Terri O’Neill recently retired as Executive Director of the Savannah Classical Academy Foundation after a career leading several of Savannah’s premier nonprofit organizations, including the Savannah Philharmonic and Historic Savannah Foundation. 

“Our Board of Directors plays a vital role in guiding Senior Citizens Inc. as we continue to expand services and meet the evolving needs of older adults throughout our region,” said Patti Lyons, President of Senior Citizens Inc. “We are honored to welcome these exceptional community leaders to our board. Their diverse expertise, leadership experience, and passion for serving others will help strengthen our mission and ensure we continue providing innovative programs and services that help people age successfully. I also want to thank our officers for their continued leadership and commitment to our organization.”

Senior Citizens Inc.’s Board of Directors provides strategic oversight and governance for the organization, supporting programs that serve thousands of older adults and caregivers each year through services including Meals on Wheels, neighborhood senior centers, adult day health centers, respite care, transportation, in-home care, and caregiver support.
